The University Union Marketplace lounge has become one of the most popular student destinations on campus. The lounge has a small performance stage branching off the main promenade, offering students a place to relax, hang out and socialize.

The original University Union Marketplace project was completed by L2studio architecture in January 2014. This new addition will increase the current student lounge space by 2,300 square feet. Primarily designed as a glazed, transparent enclosure, the Lounge addition will also feature a new exterior plaza, creating a strong visual connection to Peace Quad. The custom, exposed steel structure and a barrel-vault roof highlight the design.
